Week 12

We are already beginning to talk about customer service. Talk about a positive customer service experience you have had working at Jittery Joe's.

I think I was one of the favorite workers at Jittery Joe's. My customers would always tell me thank you and I would sometimes go out of my way to make my customers happy. I think that in general is good customer service. If there wasn't something out on the floor that a customer wanted I would go to the stock room and get it for them!! People always appreciated that because they knew the situation I was in and i didn't like moving around that much!!

Week 11 Question

As the semester ends, think back over the last few months. What experience has been most valuable to you?
The most valuable experience i've had is my first day when the health inspector came and I wasnt expecting it. I was already suprised because it was my first day, and i really didint know what to do. But i bet the inspecor lady coulnt tell because i acted like i worked here for at least a year!! I showed her where everything was at and how to operate everthing. I think that was the most valuable experience i've had here.

Week 10 Question

What job do you ideally want? What skills will you need to hone in order to get that job? What educational background is required? How does this class help you to train for these things?
My ideal job is to be a Juvinile Probation Officer. So in order to do that i'd have to know how to communicate well with teens and even pre-teens. This job has really stregthened my skills of communication. I now in order to get this job there is a bit oof schooling involved, but i am willling to indure and deal with all of the schooling it takes to acheive my goal.

Week 9 Question

My greatest achievement in school this semester is of course graduating!! When i first go to the school i had no idea i would be graduating this year with the amount of credits i came over here with, but i stuck to my guns and didn't give up. i am very ecstatic about my graduation. i am my mothers first child to graduate and it means so much to me and her. But I'm not stopping at high school! there is so much more i am willing to do to make my goals and dreams come true!!

Week 8 Question

The most difficult part of this job is the constant complaining that i hear about the products being sold here. Students always complain about the low fat nutritious things being sold at jitter Joe's like we have a control over what rules the county sets for our schools. They complain and end up buying stuff any way. If i could change anything about jittery Joe's it would be to have more drink varieties, and different kinds of donuts!!!!!

Week 7 Question

Now that you have legitimate work experience (if you did not already) do you feel differently about the way you spend money? Assume you earned minimum wage for working at Jittery Joe's instead of course credit. How does that change the value of money in your eyes?
I'm not the person to lie about stuff often. But if jittery Joe's paid the students to come to work we probably would rarely have absent students!! i always manage my money good. I have a real job and i have to watch every single thing i do with my money!! i cant spend my money how i want to sometimes. I have more than just me to worry about now!! so i have to manage my money really well.

Week 6 Question

Have you had a bad customer experience? Without using names or identifying information, explain what happened and how you resolved the situation.
I ha vent really had bad experiences with customers. The worst experience Ive had is when customers ask for free stuff all the time!!! I mean I hate to be mean i really cant give away stuff for free if i want my credit.

Week 5 Question

Describe how you feel physically while working. What changes or stays the same as you work?
Well as everyone in the school knows, I'm pregnant!!!! So, I'm not going to be moving around as fast as everyone else, and I get tired easy!!! So physically, I feel tired and sometimes even lazy!! Sometimes I'm happy to come to work. And sometimes it's the total opposite, and i hate coming to work. But for the most part I've enjoyed working at Jittery Joe's!!
